What it decided
Called by Constantine after the Donatists appealed, it upheld the Roman decision of 313 against them and in favor of Caecilian, bishop of Carthage. It ruled that those baptized by heretics in the name of the Trinity should not be rebaptized, and that Easter be kept on the same day throughout the world. Bishops from Britain attended (among them those of York and London). About 22 canons survive.
